Where is the meeting point for boat tours?
Meeting point is at the Tourist pontoon near Tankeeraq (harbour gas station) 15 minutes prior to departure.
What should I wear?
Remember warm and weatherproof clothes, gloves and a hat - it can be cold out at sea even in the summer.
What kind of boat is used?
Our boat "AVIAQ" is an open boat with seating for up to 9 passengers, perfect for getting close to the ice and whales. It is one of the most popular boats in Greenland, used by fishermen and tour operators. It is custom built for tough arctic conditions and fully equipped with all nescesarry safety gear. The boat is optimal for photography, whale watcthing and small groups.

Your booking confirmation sent to you by e-mail serves as your voucher.
How can I pay?
All tours can be booked directly through our website. Payment is done prior to the start of the tour by an online payment-link or with cash if specifically agreed with our staff.

What is your cancellation policy?
When the booking is confirmed, the following cancelation terms apply:
We will always do our best to re-book any tour (free of charge) if possible during your stay in Ilulissat. However, we do not guarantee this service, and strongly recommend our guests to have a travel insurance, that will cover any loss in case they need to cancel the tour.
